Hi all!

Thanks Bud! My login is fixed!!! Yippee!

Question for the league.....

I'd like to bring NWSKC back to Long Beach. Delta Park just did not work out like I'd hoped :(

I was in Long Beach this past weekend and stopped by the Visitors Bureau to check on 2010 dates.

How does July 24th and 25th, 2010 sound?

I checked the other calendars and there is nothing else in the NW before during or after that weekend. Plus, it'd be a great late date to get points before the end of the season.

The reason I'm asking here now, is because if we wait till the Annual meeting to decide, the date will be gone by then.

Please post some feed back!!!

Thanks!!
T

IMO - That's a good time slot - used to be Steveston that weekend.

Good chance of nice weather too.

The only drawback I can see to that time slot is it would be the last comp of the season, and usually the standings are fairly well set by then, so it may not get as many flyers as an earlier time slot. That was part of the problem with Steveston, debating whether to make the trek to Canada when the points won't make any difference. Of course the trek to LB is easier for most of us :)

See ya,
Bill

True. There was a time when people from here went down to the BASKL event that weekend to get points :)

I'd say do whatever you can to get the date. I've wanted to see another event in Long Beach for a long time, so I think it's great.
